All good things come in threes! That explains why we developed an international gala for the Godefroid company at the Coaltrans expo for the third time. This time, it was in one of Barcelona’s best event locations.\r\nThe Museu Nacional d’Art de Catalunya sits on Montjuic, the mountain that overlooks the Catalonian capital. To suit Godefriod’s international clientele, a high-end entertainment programme was on hand to provide some local charm. Guests were enchanted by acrobats forming a human tower, Spanish guitar virtuosos and Flamenco dancers, as well as one of Catalonia’s best jazz bands. An exclusive tour of the museum, which offers a breathtaking view over Barcelona, completed the programme. This was the third event we organised for the Godefroid company, following Berlin and Copenhagen, and it was a real highlight!
Destination Barcelona\r\n
Barcelona is one of the most important cultural cities in Spain and even Europe. Countless sights, a range of architectural styles, a unique and wide variety of museums and lovely parks and squares define this European metropole on the Mediterranean riviera. Each of the picturesque districts in Barcelona has its own character and lively charm. Thanks to its good transport links and excellent value for money, we have been able to organise a number of events in Barcelona. This means we have a great local network, and know all the best locations. Discover the Catalonian capital – and plan a staff trip with us!
Museu Nacional d’Art de Catalunya (MNAC)
The Palau Nacional, Barcelona’s National Palace, was designed for the World’s Fair in 1929. In this headquarters of the Museu Nacional d’Art de Catalunya (MNAC), works of Catalonian art from various eras are displayed. On the first floor of the palace, the museum was an exclusive location for the Godefroid company’s evening event with around 120 guests. The museum foyer was ideal for a classic aperitif reception with finger food, and guests were able to enjoy performances by local artists as well as works of modern art. The following dinner took place in the hall, surrounded by art by Joan Miró and Pablo Picasso. The imposing stage for our entertainment programme also featured a tiled backdrop by Joan Miró. Absolutely unique and incredibly beautiful.
